What is syracuse herbal study group?
Syracuse Herbal Study Group is a collection of local folks dedicated to affordable and accessible learning, discussion and action on topics in plant medicine with the goal of empowering community health by way of building knowledge and skill sets. All are welcome to join for one class or every class - there is no official group membership, although please follow SHSG on Facebook to join our broader discussions there and find out more about local herbal goings-on. We meet one Tuesday evening a month Oct-May, and from June-Sept we meet one Saturday a month for a free plant walk in the greater Syracuse area where we discuss plant ID, botanical uses and medicine making strategies.
Please see below for current and past class offerings. All classes during the COVID pandemic have either been on Zoom or have been recorded, so if you see a past class you'd like to watch, just email us at syracusehsg@gmail.com and we'll be sure to send you a copy.
